Mark Pedigo, PhD, is a mathematician, data scientist, and writer with a strong track record of making complex ideas clear and engaging. As a data scientist, he worked on impactful projects in healthcare, finance, AI, and government, tackling problems like healthcare fraud, hospital forecasting, conversational AI, and infant mortality. Earlier in his career, he earned multiple awards as a NASA subcontractor through Booz Allen Hamilton. Mark also taught data science, programming, and mathematics for ten years as an adjunct professor at Washington University in St. Louis, University College.

Mark's writing spans technical tutorials, accessible math explainers, and book reviews. He's a regular contributor to DataCamp and Medium publications. His published works include articles on machine learning, programming, and mathematics.
